its not the emissions its reliability , i mean look at tims car and all these real fast cars u are not gonna go on a trip to maine you know. i used to work at a engine shop building engines ,im a machnist, just keep in mind daily driver and race car dont go together unfortuntly im not trying to bust u at all, i would aim for a tourque motor , if u go carb use aperformer intake cam ect.. stuff that works together and makes power off idle , it wil be better off for drivability, and reliablity. just my thoughts im drivin a new truck and building a mustang for a strip and a little street use. the wilder u go the everday things u need go out the door, big cam you will lose vacum which can effect your barkes or not work at all if running power. just keep this in mind i dont want to see ya spend all kinds of money on things that may be not practical . my bro has an 81 z28 all done up also and isnt daily driven ect but got any questions ask away

the 350 i have is in my work truck and was daily driven. its .030 over with flattops weind intake194 steel heads mild hydrolic cam, nothing crazy. it moved my truck along pretty good for how heavy it is, so i figure put it in a camaro and it should go pretty good for what it is.just tryin to hook a brother up.
sounds like agood motor i just didnt want to see him in a bind with his transportation dud to goin to much but sounds like a good motor for the camaro tho prob go good

ive owned this car since oct21 and only put 460 miles on it. i dont drive it much, so im not to worried about hp/fuel. the farthest i go is to my cousins in warwick and thats only 15 miles. im glad that you guys care. i really do. thats why i like coming to this site.
i understand just its to easy to get overwelmed you know and i dont want that to you, or anybody on here just if u are gonna drive on street and want to make a lot of power talk to nick about nitrous on here if tuned right no worse than a blower or turbo , if u go carb and run like a 100 shot u can get a plate kit for 500-700$ for a good kit from nx or nos nitrous is nice on a street car or daily driven because the race car power is there when u want then when u want to cruise its off and like driving normal, and nitrous on a dyno makes a lot of torque down low also
just a thought if i was building a motor in a daily driver that u want alot of power

im using a vortech t trim in my stang that can support 850 to the tire if used with right combo its like anything else turbos, nirous, and blowers they all do the same thing make more power its what u can afford
this sport and hobbie is how fast can u afford ...thats what i always went by nitrous i said would be good as an idea due to u getting a new motor and its not a lot of money vs 3k on up for a turbo or blower
i just giving u an idea no hard feelings and im not telling u what to build they all make power remember keep it simple and make it fun , i wish i can its just hard it gets frustrating lol if u need a hand with anything let me know have access to lifts ect my dad owns a repair shop in taunton ma

I have a 383 stroker crank and a set of forged flat tops for a 383 stroker with 5.7" rods also have a set of hypereutectic domed pistons for a 350.I am going to post up pics in the forsale section.
