picked up the grant steering wheel quick disconnect today. installation was really easy and it works great. one of the coolest anti-theft pieces ive seen. thanks again scott.
i did more work to the hood today. have to make sure its 100% water tight so when i get the motor, its not getting water all over it. i also fiberglassed the original hood pin hole by the previous owner/
since im putting the lexan or plexiglass underneath, it allows me to make a bigger cutout. i took an extra 5/8" from the area. i will fine sand and add resin to the cracks and holes and smoothen the rest of the hood out.
first time in a few months that i had time to do some work. fuel cell came in today and i had to start with the install. just made the rough cutout and fitment was pretty good.
i had some time today and couldnt pass up the decent weather. i sprayed 2 layers of gloss black and 4 layers of clear. wasnt going to drop the motor in just to pull it for paint.
i started drawing up the new dash. the project-rs will be cnc'ed letters over a aluminum 1/8" sheet. its not perfect, but i drew it up using my 1/18" scale camaro model.
i made the template for the main trim. now i have to mail it out and have it cnc'ed. the white background will be a aluminum plate and the letters will be indavidually cnc'ed and placed onto the plate.
