You can do 434 on a stock block but the clearances are so tight I dont see why anyone would. Seems like too much of a chance with a expensive rotator. Anything bigger than a 3.875 stroke gets hairy IMO.

The block is mine, its a 330817 block, virgin bore, has maincaps. My buddy has some nice reman rods for it too.
