im waiting on getting rod bearings and piston rings and then we can install the bottom end. im going chevy orange for the block.

Thats the way to go ray new cam bearing rod and main bearings and rings make shore you whone the cylinders and cut the ridge if there is one you got a good start that motor looks like it was in good shape the start with

You should have the valves back cut and do the bowls its worth quite a bit of power on a build like yours

ordered the resr of the parts needed to drop the motor in. should be here monday, tuesday the latest. i started prepping the engine bay so it will be ready when the motors ready. its cleaning up nice, but takes forever to clean up. heres some comparison pics.

did more work on the engine bay. driver side headlights wires are completely hiddin instead od running above the frame rail. grinded down all the serface rust and primed.

made a template for the firewall. primed it to see how it looks. the screws are only in for fitment. when final it will be fully welded.

motors all together except the rocker studs. i have to take these off and switch with smaller ones. looking to drop in the camaro by the end of the week. heres a pic of the carb fuel line kit and valve cover t bars
