Well I figured I would post some pics of my new VORTECH YSI install as I go. I figured it was time to step up to the plate and put a real blower in the car, I'm gonna be putting a C4 automatic in the car with a transbrake also and will try to post pics once I start that also.

nasty are you intercooling it? or renegade style tubing? what power are you expecting for power though the C4?

Thanks JIMMY! I'm hoping to put down 800-850 rwhp through the c4 and I'm running it non intercooled for now so it will have the renegade type tubing. : )

My car weighs 3025 with me in it : ) 87331ysi (MILES)car makes 802rwhp through the c4 so I'm hoping I should be in the same ballpark.

nice , my buddy has a YSI on his 363 and he makes 800rwhp very good blower

It's fun now but kinda nuts with the stick,.. hoping the c4 will make it more consistent and the blower should help out in the boost department seeing how the old one only made 18psi.

Pic with the radiator in and fan relocated to front so when I put on race strut assembly there wont be any clearance issues.

Mike this is the piping I told you about my buddy made for his V27 Ysi kit, he put the filter down low near the bumper cover to get more cold air, the way you have it now will suck up more hot air from the engine bay. I would make a new inlet pipe when you get a chance. Let me know when you dyno it again.







and get one of these also so you can tighten the shit out of the belt...... and it keeps the stress from the belt off the crank.

he sold the whole kit, he used a 4 inch 90* and a straight 4 inch section and 90* rubber coupler. shouldn't be that hard to do.
