Hello, my 01 SS camaro LS1 needs a new clutch. The one it has slips when under slight punishment. I do not want to go stock so I started looking around and I am intrigued about the dual disc setup. I was wondering if someone can give me some opinions on if this would be a good idea or on what to use.
I hope to get a cam and do some porting on this car before I change the motor for a LSX so the clutch that I get must handle the extra ummph!
i had a centerforce about 10 years ago and hated it, terrible pedal and it didn't work that well. i put in a ram w/ a heavier pressure plate and the pedal was better and it never slipped w/ 600 hp behind it. i have heard spec is good also.
