measure the black housing. the cable will come plenty long enuff so you can cut to fit and install carb end. Cable looks old and worn out to me

Or i nice fitting factory one is alot easier! since its available

I tried looking for a replacement cable. Can't find it anywhere! Do I need a whole throttle linkage kit? If so, what part #??? Don't want to buy a new carb just yet. Also, is it normal for this cable, to break away after time? Or us this an act of deliberate sabotage? Any help is appreciate...thanks!

I think its Lokar that makes factory style replacement cables. You just need to know length and you trim end to fit. around 30 bucks or so.

food for thought   noticed your throttle bracket ,,,, when you change your carb  this is a good set up to use ,,,,, you can get them for alot less $$ on ebay etc ,,,,and sometimes have to buy the trans kickdown cable bracket seperate ,,,, and have to get the rite one for application  ,,,,lastly i noticed it looks like a glass fuel filter ,,,dump it ,,,i have read stories of them breaking and starting fires  ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,example        http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-210240R/

I spent years in the boat business and we had more people come in with carb issues that had bought edelbrocks , we would ask if they still had the holley and if they did we would rebuild the holley and they would be happy - I know your looking for throttle linkage but just mentioning it incase you hadnt heard similar before
