Nice rides. Funny name for a class because as we all know there is nothing cheap about drag racing.

thanks guys! I agree and honestly cheap street isnt cheap! it has a 5.80 1/8th mile cut off and if you go any faster they will have you add weight... and your expexted to run these times using a stock factory block and a stock type cylender head 23 degree for sbc..
I have tried to get video of the Monte a few times but dads not to good with a camcorder.... I hav 1 video of me leaving and as soon as I hit the 60 ft mark he shoots video of the ground... lol
the Monte has a 427" smc with motown 230's and around a 700" lift roller and ran a best of 6.49 in the 8th mile, I have not used the nitrous on it yet either or the trans brake.... I have not been to the track this year just cause I been busy working on the truck for my son.. were going to have them both to the track in late July... if all goes well.. lol

I agree, I like the burgundy too! I had it painted a few years back but I took it to rogersville dragstrip and it came up and pulled real hard to the right and took out the guars rail and It eventually ended back in primer again.... hopefully this winter I will have them both painted... I hate the stripes on the truck!! Im going to just repaint it all white and put some ss type stripes on the top(thinkin hot rod black for the stripes..
